Institute of Health and Family Welfare, Kolkata is initiating “First Responder Course” under the “Skills for Life, Save a Life Initiative”as per the guidelines laid down by the MOHFW, GOI.

Specification of Course

Duration of the course: 1 day (8 hours)

Venue: Institute of Health and Family Welfare, 29, GN Block, Sector V, Bidhan Nagar, Kolkata 700091.

Eligibility Criteria:
Minimum 10th Standard Pass and age 18 years or above

Enrollment Process: Interested and eligible candidates, having an Adhaar card may contact IHFW at or 033 40051867 for enrollment.

Exact dates, timings and venue of training will be intimated by IHFW office to the candidates directly (via email/ phone/ messaging or in person). The selected candidates need to carry age proof, matriculation certificate (photocopy), Adhaar card (original and photocopy) and one stamp sized colour photo for registration on the date of training. The training is free of cost and candidates will be provided with workshop material and content, as well as authorized Certificate and a First Responder Card at the successful completion of the entire training programme.

This training is non-residential and candidates have to make their own arrangements for their accommodation, and travel at their own cost during the training period.

Please note that this is a skills-based training and does not lead to the award of any degree/diploma.
